

Junior Repair Technician – Day or Afternoon Shift

TOPS Staffing is partnering with a growing medical device company to hire two Junior Repair Technicians for their Clinton, PA location. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in medical device repair and technical support. No prior repair experience is required — full training is provided.

Position Overview
As a Junior Repair Technician, you’ll support the repair and refurbishment of medical devices in a clean, organized production environment. You’ll assist with processing incoming units, cleaning and decontamination, basic repairs, and preparing finished products for shipment. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with their hands and learning new skills.
Pay & Location
• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $18.50 per hour
• Location: Clinton, PA
Work Schedule Options
Choose the schedule that fits your lifestyle:
• 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
or
• 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
Shift Availability
• Daylight Shift: Start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Afternoon Shift: Start times between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM
What You’ll Be Doing
• Process and inspect incoming medical devices
• Assist with cleaning and decontamination of equipment
• Perform basic repair and assembly tasks with guidance
• Use hand and power tools for disassembly and reassembly
• Prepare completed units for packaging and shipment
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Document work using basic computer systems
• Work as part of a supportive, team-oriented production group
What We’re Looking For
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable using small hand tools and basic power tools
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Comfortable wearing PPE such as gloves and masks
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
• Ability to safely lift and handle equipment as needed
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Production, assembly, or manufacturing experience
• Exposure to device repair, inspection, or decontamination
• Ability to read basic diagrams or blueprints
• Experience with inventory, shipping, or ERP systems
• Interest in learning technical repair and troubleshooting skills
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
